Normal service resumed in 2019 with nearly a full set of fixtures for both adults sides in January.
The firsts continued their push for the title winning three games out of three. Medical School, Ardingly and Ridgewood the unlucky victims of some great performances.
The reserves had a month that couldn’t have been much different; unfortunately only picking up one point from a possible twelve. Michael McFadden and Craig Mallon’s goalscoring form the main talking points.
Despite the results the squad remain as positive as ever with the results not entirely doing their performances justice.
The youth team bowed out of the cup in style with a 5-6 defeat at the hands of Little common. Like the reserves, they only managed one point in the league thanks to a draw away to Uckfield Grasshoppers. Robbie Payne only scoring three out of the six goals scored by the Blue Pups.

⭐️Player of the month: Danny Beattie
January sees tenacious utility man Danny Beattie pick up the player of the month award. No goals, no assists and from what I can gather he dived theatrically in one of the games. But he must be doing something right. One free match fee is his prize.
